Strauss Theory

In our movie we are using strauss theory. This is where our movie will start off with a equilibrium and then something bad will happen and then get sorted but then another thing goes wrong and gets sorted and it will end on a high or equilibrium again.

Locations for our movie.

· Gordonstoun school Library

· Path out of round square

· Along chapel wall

· Next to cross

· Across biology department courtyard

· Ally way between expedition store and art block.

All locations have been given permission to be filmed in. We have chosen these locations because each scene adds to the effect of our movie. We have chosen places with low key lighting and against older buildings with stony walls to give it a sense of a poor place in hackney. We have added in the shot location of the crucifix to add irony to our movie.

Shot types for the first 2 minutes of opening titles.

Starts off black screen music in the background first camera shot tracks around the table giving a close up of each face that is around the table. Then it will blank out to the producer it will the go back into the table scene with an over shoulder shot looking down onto money , poker chips, guns and drugs. Blank out the name of first main actor comes up then back to table with a panning shot to one of the gangsters ending a phone call looking angry stands up flips the table onto other thugs with a wide shot of everyone getting up and moving then blanks out to name of the movie , then comes in different music with a interview shot of all the thugs walking wit a wide shot , close up , extreme close up and a birds eye view, this goes on for about 40 seconds with the names of the other actors and producer coming up while they are walking. Then it turns into a point of view shot ofa gangster looking at a man tied to a chair in a ally way which then turns to an ants eye view of guy in chair looking at gangster and then gangster pulls out gun point of view shot looking at gun then black out with a gun shot at the same time.

Our film story.

Media story

On the streets of hackney people feared a gang of 5, 4 boys and 1 girl, they where criminal geniuses. They had several key factors they where intimidating and they always watched where they trod. They had everything the money the girls and they where living the high life however that was not good enough for them, they wanted something people would remember them buy they wanted something that would put them on the front  of the every newspaper that was published they wanted to be the top story on every single news broadcast. They where going to rob the worlds biggest bank luckily for them robbing was there main speciality along with killing it was as if they had no emotion or feeling as killing was part of their daily routine. It would have been easier than planned if it wasn’t for this one cop who had been following them since they first erupted into something massive he had been eagerly anticipating the day they do something to big for their own boots as he did not want to jump them to early. This cop that goes by the name of clayton was bought up in rough areas in Kingston, jamacia, he moved to England with his mother and sister when his dad was shot dead on the streets henceforth the mother wanted somewhere safe to live. Ever since he has been raised to fight and protect himself, 20 years on he is a extremely successful cop with a wife and two children however the question is will he bust the world most wanted.

16- Institutions

I researched many different institution that could of produced a comedy action movie along the lines of ocean’s eleven, I looked at some opening titles and the institutions that produced them, and some very popular ones came up. The institutions listed above are four of the most renowned in the world.

Pearl and Dean audiences.

The range of product has also broadened significantly with cinema no longer being the sole preserve of Hollywood blockbusters. Nowadays you are as likely to pop to your local cinema to watch a heartfelt documentary, an intriguing indie-film or even live opera as you are to see a big 3D family film or action flick.
All of this has resulted in an increasingly diverse range of audiences going to the cinema on a regular basis, all of them highly targetable by any number of criteria including film choice and location. Some of the major audience profiles are shown below, but feel free to give us a call  to discuss your target audience and how you can best use cinema to reach them.
